STEM METS, a leading social enterprise, marked its 10th anniversary with a renewed focus on addressing the continent’s STEM education challenges. Celebrated at the Art Hotel in Lagos, the milestone highlighted a decade of groundbreaking programs aimed at equipping African students with 21st-century skills.
The Chief Executive Officer of STEM METS, Jadesola Adedeji, reflected on the organization’s journey:
“Ten years ago, we set out to revolutionize learning by moving beyond traditional textbooks to hands-on, practical experiences. Today, we’ve empowered over 30,000 students and trained 580 educators, providing essential skills in robotics, coding, engineering, and more. We’re shaping a future where African children are not just participants but leaders in global innovation.”
