The Federal Government of Nigeria has scheduled the 2025 Commonwealth Day celebrations for Monday, 10th March, with a focus on fostering unity, peace, and collaboration among member nations.
Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja, the Minister of Education, Dr Adetunji Alausa, announced this year’s theme: “Together We Thrive.” He emphasised the resilience and commitment of the 56 Commonwealth nations in promoting peace and prosperity.
