
Ordega International School, Ibafo, Ogun State has emerged first among 19 participating high schools in the first ever debate conducted under the 2024 Youth Empowerment Programme, an initiative of the University’s Marketing and Communication department.
The programme, aimed at raising the bar of education in the country, had Transatlantic College, Shagamu, clinching the second prize while the Ikorodu campus of the Ordega International School went home with the third prize. Sixteen others had consolation prizes. “Aside honing the analytical and reasoning skills of the youths, the event is also a platform for improving participants’ knowledge of Babcock University and her core values,” said the Senior Vice President management Services, Prof. Yacob Haliso represented by the Director
