The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Olatunji Alausa, has outlined activities to mark the Commonwealth Day 2025 celebration, emphasizing the role of education in strengthening resilience and prosperity across the 56 member nations of the Commonwealth.
This year’s celebration, themed “Together We Strive,” highlights the shared commitment of Commonwealth nations to sustainable development and educational advancement. Dr. Alausa has directed the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) to observe the day by creating awareness in schools, ensuring that students understand the values and goals of the Commonwealth.
