The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, awarded degrees to 634 students at its sixth convocation ceremony, with 34 earning first-class honors, according to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Adesegun Fatusi.
Fatusi disclosed that 539 of the graduates were undergraduates, while 95 were postgraduates. Among the undergraduates, 34 achieved first-class grades, 223 earned second-class upper, 145 second-class lower, 9 third-class, and 127 received unclassified degrees. The unclassified category included 41 medical doctors, 23 dental surgeons, and 64 physiotherapists.
