Nigeria’s Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tijani Alausa, attended the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) board meeting in Dubai’s Expo City, representing the Africa 3 Constituency, which includes Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone, and São Tomé & Príncipe.
Dr. Alausa expressed Nigeria’s pride in joining the global platform, emphasizing GPE’s role in uniting governments, educators, civil society, and development partners to transform education systems worldwide. “Transforming education and fostering partnerships is in GPE’s DNA,” he stated.
