The National Universities Commission and the senate have emphasised the need for the establishment of more universities in Nigeria to address the rising demand for tertiary education.
This call was made on Monday in Abuja during a public hearing organised by the Senate Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFund, where stakeholders supported the proposed establishment of the Federal University, Okigwe, in Imo State.
